No more Amy but she lives on in our hearts

Amy Winehouse - I started this blog some years ago after being captured by the voice and image of Amy Winehouse from her video "You Know I'm No Good" like every other fan I bought her CD and watched her video's numerous times.

I followed her career and the ups and downs of her personal life. I prayed for her well being and hoped she would get better.

A very sad day when the news went around the world of her death. My heart went out to her family and loved friends.

She was unique. I wish the temptations of things that were harmful were not a draw for her.

In the end I simply do not have words to say.

You seemed a little knackered the other night performing at the MTV Awards show and I can quite imagine coming off the honeymoon gig and all. There was a faint glimmer of a smile hovering around your lips but I reckon because you were thinking on Blake (good on ya)

I was not surprised to read in the press where you are thinking of leaving the music business and devote yourself to keeping house.

The world will certainly miss your talents but I think it is lovely that you want to keep your bloke happy.

Please keep me posted if you can on what is happening before it hits page 6 or the BBC.

It' s just my way of saying Mazel Tov to you & Blake and I would be most delighted to fly into LA for the post wedding bash.

I loved the cute dress you wore and the awesomeness of your hive - I really must get with you and strategize how I can get my hair as high.

You're all over the Internet and probably the BBC with postings of your surprise wedding but anybody who is anybody could see the writing on the wall.

Just wondering...

When you were a little girl did your mum constantly tell you to move back from the telly so you would not ruin your eyes?

Well the first time I saw your video on television I got so close as I was trying to figure out a couple of things like;

I wonder how she gets her hair so high?

I sure wish I knew what highlighter she is wearing?

That lingerie is sexy yet it covers her bits nicely!

Love her nailpolish I wonder what color it is?

The only question I did not have was the question of whether or not you could sing! I went right out and bought "Back to Black" and now listen to it every day.

When your video comes on I still rush to the television and ask all those same questions.
